This is not the only restoration happening though, MyRWA is also managing a $1.27M grant from NAWCA with eight on-the-ground improvement projects, pus NRD funding is coming in for improvements to the fish passage to Horn Pond and Shaker Glen.

During the spring, 5,000 plus community members helped document the herring run size using the under water “fish cam".” See the results of the run here.
