What has our policy committee been up to so far this year? A lot! We've advocated for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits to remain under Mass DEP and EPA control, advocated for healthy soils and local plastic bag bans, pushed for an improved combined sewer overflow, worked towards passage of the Public Lands Preservation Act, and supported the Environmental Justice Act.
