#VirtualHRP 2021: Results are in!

FUN FACTS

  • 60 people participated in the 5k

  • 31 people participated in the 9-mile paddle

  • Youngest participant was 6 and the oldest was 84

  • 126 people total signed up to run, paddle, cheer or fundraise

  • Nearly 30% more people registered this year than in 2020

  • With the help of 13 fundraisers, 199 donors raised $16,423!!!

  • 23 sponsors donated $21,521!!!

Though we missed getting together personally we did hear from many participants that they loved being able to participate at their own pace! Thank you everyone—in our books you are all winners for caring for our river and watershed. Thank you!

Three River Challenge

With nearly 70 miles of paddling, walking, jogging and biking along the Mystic, Ipswich and Charles River, Matthew Santoso won the first ever Three Rivers Challenge. Beyond the great joy for the effort—he also won a Lincoln Hide-a-way solo forest green fiberglass canoe.
