Latino Conservation Week Event (July 23):
Join MyRWA and Latino Outdoors Boston for a habitat restoration event in honor of Latino Conservation Week! This will be a water chestnut removal event for the Latino community hosted bilingually in English and Spanish. Register here >>>.

We need you! Come out to one of our summer field days to help remove invasive water chestnuts from the river — you can volunteer on the water or on land!

Volunteer Policy Committee: Be a river advocate and join our monthly virtual meeting to discuss policies that affect the watershed. Next meeting is July 12th, from 7pm to 8pm, details here >>>.
Self-Guided Trash Cleanup: Conduct a self-guided trash cleanup with MyRWA's help! For self-guided cleanup guidelines and suggested locations around the watershed, see the links under "River and Park Cleanups" here >>>.
Count Herring Online: Each spring (April-June), over 550,000 river herring migrate up the Mystic River. Help us document the herring migration online by counting the number of fish you see swim by in videos that we recorded at the Mystic Lakes Dam fish ladder. Become a River Rep: Help connect your community to the Mystic River! Complete a brief training to learn about Mystic River Watershed Association programs and volunteer to be a MyRWA River Representative at a community event near you. Interest form here >>>.
