On September 25th the Mystic River Watershed Steering Committee hosted a special presentation on the environmental impacts and considerations of both proposed Mystic River casinos – Wynn Resorts in Everett and Suffolk Downs in East Boston. Over 80 people attended this public meeting and had the opportunity to ask questions of each proponent. The meeting was convened by the Mystic River Watershed Steering Committee while the meeting room and light refreshments were generously provided by Preotle, Lane & Associates.
The Mystic River Watershed Steering Committee does not endorse one casino proposal over another, rather wanted the opportunity to hear from both proponents regarding their environmental impacts.
