Currently Draw Seven is an underutilized park that dead-ends near the border of Somerville and Boston on the Mystic River, behind the Assembly Row T Station. The MBTA and DCR have worked for years to restore the seawall and create a new path that will connect this park to Route 99/Rutherford Ave in Boston. This new path is now complete and open to the public!
At the same time, DCR is leading a reconstruction for the 9-acre Draw Seven Park in Somerville. The project’s construction began in November 2024. Click here to learn more and view the final project design.
