Public Briefing on MWRA’s CSO Post-Construction Monitoring and Performance Assessment, Final Report

Express your concerns about Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) and the Mystic

On Thursday, February 17 at 10 am, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) will hold a virtual public briefing on CSOs, including those in the Mystic River. Your voice–or even just your presence at the meeting–matters: while the briefing will cover many technical aspects of the MWRA’s latest CSO assessment report, this is also a great opportunity to let the MWRA know that reducing and eliminating CSOs is important to residents and river users. The MWRA needs to hear that the public is concerned about CSOs and the impact they have on the health and safety of our rivers.  Thank you for attending and speaking up!
