Join the Mystic River Watershed Association and Indigenous knowledge holder Thomas Green in constructing fish weirs, structures traditionally used by Indigenous Massachusett people to sustainably gather fish, as a means of sustenance and survival. Participants will be guided through the process, from understanding historical context to constructing a fish weir together.
