Park Serve Day at Belle Isle Marsh

Join us to help remove invasive plants from Belle Isle Marsh, Boston's largest remaining salt marsh in honor of DCR Park Serve Day! Volunteers will be given gloves and clippers to remove invasive Bittersweet and Garlic Mustard from designated areas around the marsh. All supplies will be provided and Department of Conservation and Recreation staff will be on site to guide volunteers to the correct species.

Where: 1399 Bennington Street, Boston, MA, 02128. Parking available on site.

Who: Ages 6+ are welcome!

What to Bring: Gloves and tools will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes and sunscreen and bring a water bottle. We also recommend loose-fitting, light-colored clothing to help stay cool and long sleeves, long pants, and bug repellent.
