Mayor Jake Wilson and Ward 4 Councilor Jesse Clingan invite you to join the City of Somerville, MyRWA and the project teams for a virtual community meeting about construction plans for the Shore Drive Greenway, located along Blessing of the Bay Park in Somerville.

The Shore Drive Greenway replaces the existing sidewalk and bike lane along Blessing of the Bay Park with a wider, shared-use recreational paved path. The path will be separated from the road by a 5-foot raised boulevard that includes new large shade trees, lawn, and below-ground green stormwater infrastructure. This will improve community access to waterfront recreation, cool the surrounding area during heat waves, and add a biodiversity corridor for plants and pollinators.
