The Nature for MA coalition is organizing a hike and rally on Monday December 1 in Boston to celebrate our milestone of 75,000+ signatures collected for the Protect Water and Nature Ballot Initiative.

At 9:15am, we will meet and embark on a short urban hike from the Appalachian Mountain Club office in Charlestown to the Massachusetts State House in Beacon Hill delivering signatures from voters across the state in hiking backpacks to the Secretary of the Commonwealth. AMC will have gear available to borrow (including backpacks, hiking poles, boots, etc.), or you can bring your own! We will then hold a short rally, at 10:30am, on the steps of the State House to demonstrate the public support behind this initiative, garner press coverage, and show the importance of putting the proposal on the ballot in 2026.
