Join MyRWA for a trash cleanup at Blessing of the Bay Park in Somerville! The event will be on Friday, September 18th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Learn more about work to improve open space at Blessing of the Bay here.

We recommend wearing long pants, sleeves, and socks with closed-toe shoes. All cleanup materials will be provided and students can earn service hours for this event. 

Date and Time: Friday, September 18th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM

Location Details: We will meet next to the parking lot at the Blessing of the Bay boathouse. See here for photos of the event location.

Activity Details: We will pick up trash along paved pathways and in grassy areas of the park with gloves and trash pickers. There may be an opportunity to remove trash from behind a slight hill behind a fence, but it will be at your own comfort level. Parking/Bus Info: There is parking available at the site. The Assembly T stop (Orange line) and the 95 bus line have stops close to Blessing of the Bay boathouse.
