Join MyRWA for a trash cleanup at Blessing of the Bay Park in Somerville! The event will be on Friday, November 7th from 9:30AM to 12:00PM. Learn more about work to improve open space at Blessing of the Bay here.

We recommend wearing long pants, sleeves, and socks with close toed shoes. All cleanup materials will be provided and students can earn service hours for this event. 

Date and Time: Friday, November 7th from 9:30AM to 12:00PM

Location Details: We will meet next to the parking lot at the Blessing of the Bay boathouse. See here for photos of the event location. 

Activity Details: We will pick up trash along paved pathways and in grassy areas of the park with gloves and trash pickers. There may be an opportunity to remove trash from behind a slight hill behind a fence, but it will be at your own comfort level. Parking/Bus Info: There is parking available at the site. The Assembly T stop (Orange line) and the 95 bus line have stops close to Blessing of the Bay boathouse.
