City Councilor Chuck Viola, Friends of Horn Pond, and Know Your Neighbor Woburn invite you to join a trash clean up of Shaker Glen! Learn more about open space improvements coming to Shaker Glen here. 

We recommend wearing long pants, sleeves and socks with close toed shoes. All cleanup materials will be provided and students can earn service hours for this event. 

Date and Time: The event will be on Saturday, October 4th from 12:00-3:00pm. There will be a rain date of Sunday, October 5th from 12:00-3:00pm.

Location Details: We will meet behind Citizens Bank, near 6 Russell Street. Water and cell service are available. Bathrooms including ADA-accessible stalls are available at the MacDonalds or Dunkin Donuts nearby. See here for photos of the event location. 

Activity Details: Volunteers can walk along paved edges or go into forested areas to pick up trash with gloves and trash pickers. Parking/Bus Info: There is parking available at the site, and the MBTA 350 bus line has stops close to the meeting point.
