Wild in Woburn

Join us at the Woburn Public Library on Wednesday, September 6th from 5-7:30 pm for family fun, free food and ice cream, and to learn about new parks and habitat improvements coming to Woburn!

5pm — games and food on the library lawn

6pm — project teams will present inside the library*

*Interpretation will be provided in Spanish and Portuguese.

New Fish Passage at Horn Pond (85-93 Lake Ave.)

A new state-of-the-art fish passage at Scalley Dam will make it easier for fish to get into Horn Pond, and for visitors to witness this amazing migration.

Improved Open Space and Path Network at Shaker Glen (187 Cambridge St.)

We're working on an extended path system, improved wildlife habitat and water quality, flood storage, and shady spaces to stay cool.

Hurld Park Re-Design

This park will feature climate resilient spaces for gathering, active recreation and play, and a “natural” area with stream, wetland, and flood plain restoration.
