Project Summary

Mayor Scott Galvin, Ward 3 Alderman Jeff Dillon, and the Woburn Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Mystic River Watershed Association, are beginning a community-led visioning process of the former Hurld School and neighboring Hurld Park. We want to hear from you!

The site of the former Hurld School will consist of 1) a grassy area for the community to gather and 2) a more “natural” area for walking with restored stream, wetland, and floodplain. Interested to learn more about the design to date? View past presentation here.
