Calling Mystic Youth! Check out all of our Teen Volunteer Week opportunities to join other young community members in caring for the local environment!

What: This event is a bittersweet removal led by Maggie F., a student leader with the Medford Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility! Volunteers will use gloves and clippers to tackle bittersweet, an invasive vine that can kill trees, impairs habitat value, and degrades park aesthetics. Gloves and clippers will be provided (but you are welcome to use your own if you prefer!) Please bring sunscreen and water and wear closed-toe shoes.

Where: Macdonald Park, Medford MA. Parking lot available.

Registration: Preregistration required!*

*Note: This event is for Youth aged 13-18. Youth aged 13-17 may participate without a parent or guardian present at the event but waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian beforehand.
