Join us for music, dance, & food to create a "Yard", a space to highlight stories of BIPOC folkx in Malden, connect our own, & tell them by the riverside.
Our Yard will feature Zili in conversation with poet Letta Neely, Haitian master drummer & choreographer Peniel Guerrier, steel pannist Becky Bass, gwenyambira (mbira player) Solomon Murungu, & Afrobeats DJ Lady Ly, for interactive workshops & performances. Free food will be provided by “The Island,” a Malden Haitian restaurant.
Though not required, we encourage you to register!
