Mayor Burke & Medford’s Energy & Environment staff invite you to talk about your vision for a climate-resilient Medford! Medford has recently published its climate change vulnerability assessment (read here: gogreenmedford.org/climate/), which identifies the physical, social, and economic impacts of climate change on our city. The next steps for our community are to develop a vision and make an adaptation and mitigation plan. We invite you to be a part of that process!
At this public meeting, you'll have the opportunity to:
-Hear from municipal climate staff about their work thus far on Medford's climate change adaptation and mitigation plans
-View maps that show different climate change impacts throughout Medford and flip through a copy of Medford's Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment
-Provide written and/or oral feedback on Medford's vision that will guide our next steps for addressing local climate change impacts
-Volunteer to serve on a working group that focuses on a topic that interests you
If you cannot attend, watch it on Medford Community Media and provide your feedback via Google Form HERE: https://tinyurl.com/medford-climate-vision
