Come for a 30 minute site-tour to view the installation, learn about how these structures function and their benefits and how it fits into future stormwater plans for the Town of Arlington.
The Town of Arlington and the Mystic River Watershed Association (MyRWA) collaborated on the design and installation of two bioretention structures (rain gardens) at the corner of Egerton and Herbert to treat stormwater. These structures remove nutrients and contaminants from the road runoff and contributes to a healthier Alewife and Mystic.
Tour led by Emily Sullivan (Town of Arlington) and Patrick Herron of the Mystic River Watershed Association.
