There are two opportunities to get involved on Earth Day this year! 

Option 1– Help remove trash from Torbert MacDonald Park. We'll collect the trash that's exposed along the paths and perimeter of the park.

Option 2 – Help us with an EPA litter study. Volunteers will help us survey, categorize, and remove trash from various locations in the watershed. This helps us determine what type of trash is most prevalent and where the major litter sources are located in the watershed. The data YOU collect will then inform decisions on how to keep the Mystic trash-free! 

All volunteers are invited to join us for a picnic after the cleanup!
