Calling Cambridge residents! On September 9, the Cambridge City Council is hosting a public hearing regarding efforts to reduce and eliminate sewage discharges within the City and the surrounding areas.

Combined sewer overflows remain a persistent source of bacterial pollution in the Mystic and Charles Rivers, threatening public health and the health of our local ecosystems. Eliminating CSOs requires action from local governments and public pressure. You can help by showing up in force to advocate for the full elimination of CSOs in the Mystic River, Alewife Brook, and Charles River.
