We will be joined by Megan Whatton, Habitat Network Project Manager with The Nature Conservancy at 7:00 p.m. Habitat Network is a citizen science project designed to cultivate a richer understanding of wildlife habitat, for both professional scientists and people concerned with their local environments. We collect data by asking individuals across the country to literally draw maps of their backyards, parks, farms, favorite birding locations, schools, and gardens. We connect you with your landscape details and provide tools for you to make better decisions about how to manage landscapes sustainably.
The Mystic River Watershed Association has two committees that work both independently and jointly, which include the Outreach Committee and the Policy Committee. Roughly half of the meeting is dedicated to individual committee discussion, planning, and strategizing, while the rest of the meeting is devoted to the joint committee engaging in relevant discussion including occasional guest speakers.
Please join us! Free and open to the public. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
We meet at Tufts University, Jonathon M. Tisch College of Citizenship & Public Service, Lincoln Filene Hall, Rabb Room, 10 Upper Campus Road, Medford, MA 02155 (Map here)
