MYSTIC COMMUNITY EARTH DAY 2013
Mystic Community Earth Day is organized by many community groups and organizations in the Mystic River Watershed to coordinate efforts around Earth Day. We hope that you'll find an event that interests you! View a map of the events here.
On Saturday, April 27th hundreds of volunteers came out to participate in Earth Day festivities in Somerville, Medford, Cambridge, Malden, Everett and East Boston. Thank you for lending a hand!

Thinking about organizing a river clean-up?
Here are some things to consider: You’ll need gloves, trash bags, a dumpster or way to dispose of the garbage collected, and lots of volunteers.
Volunteers wanted in West Medford for ongoing monthly clean up of Lower Mystic Lake area. Join a dedicated group of neighbors who take turns cleaning up. Contact Barbara Van Zoeren bvanzoeren@comcast.net to get involved!
Friends of the Mystic River, a Medford-based community organization focused on the enjoyment, protection and enhancement of the Mystic River in Medford, often organizes river cleanups. Visit their website at www.fomr.org for more information.
